Taking An Aspirin A Day Will Cause Cancer

by: Jonathan Benson

(NaturalNews) The mainstream media is abuzz with new reports that claim taking an aspirin a day will supposedly help keep cancer away. But just a few years ago, mainstream science was declaring the exact opposite, as a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute back in 2004 found that daily aspirin intake is linked to a significantly increased risk of developing cancer.

Detox Protocol

Dr. Eva S. Schernhammer, M.D., Dr.P.H., from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, and her colleagues conducted an extensive investigation into the long-term effects of taking aspirin. They found that prolonged use can trigger cancer development in humans, and that there is no evidence that taking aspirin in any way helps prevent cancer.

Based on data gathered as part of the comprehensive Nurses' Health Study, which began in 1980, the team found that, compared to women who consumed fewer than two aspirin tablets per week, regular users taking two or more aspirin tablets a week were a whopping 58 percent more likely to develop pancreatic cancer — and those taking more than 14 aspirin a week were found to be 86 percent more likely to develop pancreatic cancer.

"Our findings do not support a protective effect of analgesic use (of aspirin) on the risk of pancreatic cancer," wrote Dr. Schernhammer at that time, which was also a rebuttal to other studies that had claimed taking aspirin helps prevent cancer. "Rather, aspirin appears to increase the risk of pancreatic cancer after extended periods of use."

So which is it? Does aspirin cause cancer or prevent it? Based on the aforementioned evidence, aspirin appears to be a promoter of cancer rather than a preventer of it. And yet the mainstream medical-industrial complex is currently going hog-wild claiming that individuals can avoid getting cancer if they simply pop a few aspirin every day — do not be fooled by this terrible advice.

Regular use of aspirin linked to heart attack, stroke, intestinal bleeding, organ damage, and death
Acetylsalicylic acid, the more technical name for aspirin, is actually a synthetic derivative of natural willow bark, which has pain-relieving and blood-thinning properties. But since this non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) was first developed, it has been observed to cause severe health problems and even death, especially when taken regularly.

In 2010, a group of researchers, medical experts, and public health officials came forward denouncing recommendations that people take an aspirin a day to protect their hearts. It turns out that aspirin actually destroys the protective lining in the intestines, which can lead to severe bleeding, colitis, or even intestinal perforations, which can cause systemic infections and other very serious health problems and death (http://online.wsj.com).

"It is important to remember that all NSAIDs, including over the counter aspirin, have the potential to damage the tissue of the gastrointestinal tract," wrote Dr. Neena S. Abraham, a gastroenterologist at the Michael E. DeBakey V.A. Medical Center, in a 2010 New York Times piece. "Damage can occur anywhere, from mouth to anus … Aspirin is not a nutritional supplement — it is a medication with real risks and side-effects" (http://consults.blogs.nytimes.com).

Aspirin can also exacerbate heart conditions rather than mitigate them, as is popularly believed, because the drug is actually an "anti-nutrient" that depletes your body of vital minerals and nutrients. And as far as your bodily organs are concerned, this effect can be disastrous in the long term.

Sleep Duration Directly Linked To Heart Disease Risk

by: John Phillip

(NaturalNews) A startling number of people take a good night sleep for granted, despite the mounting body of evidence to support a restful sleep between six and eight hours every evening. In the past, studies have made a loose correlation between the numbers of hours of sleep each night and risk of diseases ranging from cancer to cardiovascular disease and dementia. Researchers from the University of Chicago are presenting the result of a study to the American College of Cardiology that explains a direct link between sleeping a minimum of six hours each night and dramatically increased risk of stroke, heart attack and congestive heart failure.

Sleep Protocol

The study team found that individuals sleeping much more than eight hours each night had a significantly higher prevalence of chest pain or angina and coronary artery disease, a narrowing of the blood vessels that supply the heart with blood and oxygen. The bottom line is simple: controlling the duration of restful sleep in a totally darkened room is a modifiable risk factor that can significantly reduce risk of heart diseases and related chronic illnesses.

Sleeping Less Than Six Hours Each Night Doubles Heart Attack Risk
Researchers examined 3,019 patients, aged 45 years or older participating in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, designed to assess a broad range of health issues. The study showed that people getting less than six hours of sleep each night were two times more likely to have a stroke or heart attack and 1.6 times more likely to have congestive heart failure. Conversely, those individuals that slept more than eight hours a night were two times more likely to have angina and 1.1 times more likely to have coronary artery disease.

Clearly the duration and quality of sleep is an identifiable risk factor for heart disease, robbing your health in a similar manner to poor dietary choices and lack of physical activity. The principal study investigator, Dr. Rohit Arora commented "We now have an indication that sleep can impact heart health, and it should be a priority… based on these findings, it seems getting six to eight hours of sleep everyday probably confers the least risk for cardiovascular disease over the long term."

While this research did not directly determine how sleep duration affects heart health, past studies have implicated hyper-activation of the sympathetic nervous system, glucose intolerance, diabetes, increased cortisone levels, blood pressure, resting heart rate and inflammatory markers, all known risk factors for increased risk of cardiovascular disease. As researchers continue to determine the link between sleep and heart disease, the message is clear: ensure a restful sleep between six and eight hours each night in a fully darkened room to dramatically lower heart disease risk.

Rotavirus Vaccines Still Contaminated With Pig Virus DNA

by Sayer Ji

A new investigation into pig virus contamination in human vaccines has revealed that both circovirus type 1 (PCV1) and 2 (PCV2) DNA are still present in vaccines developed against infant and childhood rotaviral gastroenteritis, and which since 5 June, 2009, the World Health Organization has recommended be included in all national immunization programs.

Vaccine Protocol

As a parent how do you feel about that?

Of course, PCV1 is not believed to infect humans, despite commonly being found in the feces of those who consume pork. It is also not believed to cause harm to pigs. But PCV2 virus, which infects pigs worldwide, has been identified to precipitate a potentially fatal condition in piglets known as postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS), which causes a progressive loss of body condition, lung damage associated with difficulty breathing, visibly enlarged lymph nodes, and sometimes diarrhea, pale skin and jaundice.

The well known malignancy of PCV2 in pigs caused the FDA, on 22 March 2010, to recommend doctors suspend the Rotarix vaccine, one of two licensed for rotavirus on the market, due to PCV1 DNA contamination. Further testing revealed that the other licensed vaccine, RotaTeq, had both PCV1 and PCV2 DNA contamination. Despite these findings, the FDA chose to disregard the precautionary principle and after a “careful scientific review” determined that both Rotarix and RotaTeq vaccines were safe. It is quite telling that one of the patent holders of the RotaTeq vaccine, Dr. Paul Offit, was quoted as saying that an infant has a theoretical capacity to respond [safely] to about 10,000 vaccines at any one time." Given the quite possibly insane perspective of this nationally acclaimed "expert" on vaccine safety, is it any wonder the health and well-being of precious infants and children is being treated with callous disregard?

The first myth to dispel is that porcine coroviruses are incapable of infecting humans. A study published in 2011 in the journal Vaccine titled “Productive infection of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells by porcine circovirus type 1,” proved that a human cell line can be infected with PCV1.  A 2005 study in the journal Xenotransplantation found that human white blood cells are susceptible to PCV1 infection, raising safety concerns associated with transplantation procedures involving pig tissue. Another, more extensive study published in 2004 in the same journal demonstrated experimentally that both PCV1 and PCV2 gene expression and replication can take place in human cells

Given these findings, if the FDA’s “scientific” justification for allowing millions of infants and children to be exposed to PCV1 and PCV2 DNA and possibly live viruses is that “they can not infect humans,” they are now compelled to correct their mistake or be found guilty of both risking the health and well-being of our children, as well as violating the medical ethical principle of informed consent.

Some additional PCV2 research to consider…

Back in 2009 the journal Clinical and Vaccine Immunology demonstrated that vaccinating pigs with PCV2 actually resulting in infecting them with the virus!  In their own words: “The results from this study indicate that vertical transmission of PCV2 can occur in PCV2-vaccinated dams.”

Another study published in the journal Nutrition titled “Birth abnormalities in pregnant sows infected intranasally with porcine circovirus 2” found the intranasal inoculation of pregnant sows with PCV2 resulted in abortion and reproductive failure.

What is most disconcerting about the contamination of vaccines intended for infants and children with pig viruses is that zoonotic (viruses from animals) are well known to be more malignant than viruses with a long history of host-virus evolution. Remember the global hysteria over "avian flu," and "pig flu"?

When cross-species transmission of a virus does occurs, due largely to manmade circumstances, e.g. Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs), vaccine production and administration, a virus which may cause no harm in the animal within which it is naturally found, may be highly lethal to the animal it has been introduced into through direct (e.g. vaccine) or indirect (factory farmed food) exposure.

One thing is for sure: intentionally administering vaccines with pig virus DNA, as well as possibly viable pig virus, into healthy children to "prevent" disease is clearly insane behavior, or at the least reflects a callous lack of concern for the health and wellbeing of those being "treated."

Another insurmountable problem is that rotavirus vaccines can cause the very gastroenteritis they are marketed to prevent, as well as a more serious medical condition known as intussusception, where a part of the intestine collapses into itself (like a telescope), sometimes causing deadly obstructions.1

Eating More Ctrus Fruit Can Lower Your Risk of Stroke

by: Jonathan Benson

(NaturalNews) The antioxidant flavonoid compounds found in citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruits offer protective benefits against blood clot-related strokes. These are the findings of a new study published in the American Heart Association (AHA) journal Stroke, and ones that could help many people who currently take heart drugs to get off them and instead integrate these and other nutritional approaches to improve heart health.

Vitamin C

A team of researchers from Boston's Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Norwich Medical School in the U.K. evaluated 14 years worth of data from 70,000 female nurses that participated in a national study on women's health. They found that women whose diets included the most citrus fruits were 19 percent less likely to suffer a stroke than women whose diets included the least citrus fruits.

"Our study supports the conclusion that flavonones are associated with a modest reduction in stroke risk," said Kathryn M. Rexrode, M.D., M.P.H., who helped head up the research. "This is very provocative research which suggests that including citrus fruits in your diet could lower stroke risk."

Also known as "vitamin P," flavonoids are present in various quantities and combinations in all sorts of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. These plant-based antioxidants are known to dilate blood vessels and promote healthy circulation, as well as promote a disease-preventing anti-inflammatory effect within the body. Flavonoids are also linked to preventing the development and spread of cancer (http://www.naturalnews.com/030582_flavonoids_cancer.html).

A study published a few years ago in the journal Nutrition and Cancer, for instance, found that people who consume the highest amounts of flavonoids and proanthocyanidins, a subgroup of flavonoids, were 44 percent less likely to develop oral cancer, 40 percent less likely to develop laryngeal cancer, and 30 percent less likely to develop colon cancer compared to others.

"The nutritional benefits of flavonoids include the increase of intracellular vitamin C levels, a decrease in the leakiness and breakage of small blood vessels, the prevention of easy bruising, and immune system support," writes Gabriel Cousens in his book There Is a Cure for Diabetes: The Tree of Life 21-Day+ Program.

And if you are looking for a higher and more concentrated dose of flavonoids than what can typically be obtained just from eating fruits and vegetables, flavonoid supplements are another option. Quercetin, citrus bioflavonoids, mixed carotenoids, bilberry, and ginkgo biloba are a few types you may wish to investigate further.

Pfizer Execs To Stand Trial For Cover-up of Drug Trial Results

by: Ethan A. Huff

(NaturalNews) Four former executives at Pfizer Inc., the world’s largest drug company. — Henry McKinnell, John LaMattina, Karen Katen, Joseph Feczko — as well as Gail Cawkwell, Pfizer’s current Vice President of Medical Affairs, will all face trial for allegedly concealing the unfavorable results of drug trials involving Celebrex and Bextra. Courthouse News Service (CNS) reports that U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain has denied requests made by defendants to dismiss the case, which means all five individuals will be held to account for their actions.

IntraMax
The securities class-action lawsuit, which was filed by the Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) on behalf of Pfizer stockholders, alleges that the five defendants violated federal securities laws by concealing the results of studies involving Celebrex, a COX-2 inhibiting anti-inflammatory drug, and Bextra, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that was pulled from the market in 2005.According to the suit, the five defendants made misleading statements in their public filings about the drug trials, and also omitted important information that exposed both Celebrex and Bextra as being dangerous. And despite numerous attempts by Pfizer and the defendants to have the case dismissed or reconsidered, the case will now proceed as intended following Judge Swain’s ruling that the plaintiffs provide sufficient evidence to show that Celebrex and Bextra are “linked to adverse cardiovascular events to a statistically significant degree, and that these results were known to Defendants.”

Because of its class-action status, the lawsuit will also potentially address a number of other lawsuits against Pfizer as well, since it has now been revealed that Celebrex, which is still on the market, has been known to cause heart problems since at least as early as 2004. If the plaintiffs are successful in winning their case, Pfizer shareholders who purchased stock between October 31, 2000, and October 19, 2005, will be covered.

“Over the past seven years, this court has become familiar with both the parties to and the subject matter of this action, and so believes that concentrating this litigation in this forum would promote judicial economy,” wrote Judge Swain in her ruling.

Just prior to the ruling, Pfizer actually ended a post-approval safety study of Celebrex due to difficulty finding patients willing to enroll in it. Though the company was initially required by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to conduct such a study, the regulatory agency ended up deciding to simply let Pfizer off the hook rather than hold it accountable to these requirements.

Five Easy Ways To Detox Lymph Nodes and Boost Your Immune System

by: Paul Fassa

(NaturalNews) Everyone knows a sedentary life style, whether as a couch potato, office worker or vehicle operator, is not conducive to good health. If one is ambitious, with enough time he or she will exercise andfocus on the heart, lungs, and/or muscles.

Immune Booster Protocol

The lymph system needs to be worked also. It is the sewage system for cellular metabolic toxins. Lymph nodes provide antigens for purifying fluids containing anything from allergens to cancer cells. That fluid is called lymph. There is more lymph in your body than blood, but there is no pump for lymph. If lymph doesn’t move out of small lymph nodes through their ducts into the kidneys and liver, it backs up like a clogged sewer line. Lymph nodes can become infected and you wind up with “swollen glands,” a misnomer. Lymph nodes are not glands.

Anyone who eats and drinks processed food and sodas or alcohol while leading a sedentary lifestyle is stuck with a compromised immune system from lymph that needs to be drained.

Moving your lymph

Surprisingly, in this era of hyper-exercising, many health experts are realizing the importance of walking to move that lymph around. This is not leisurely strolling, but brisk walking. Walking should be done outdoors in as natural a setting as possible with trees, grass, and open fresh air.The walk should take 20 minutes or more. Four times a week is good enough. Start out as briskly as you can, then move into power walking if possible. Since there are so many lymph nodes in the upper body, armpits, neck and shoulders, arm movement should be more extreme than usual.

This is especially important for women who wear bras and use underarm deodorants containing toxins. Those toxins leech into abundant lymph node areas nearby and just beneath the skin.

Another aspect of walking is that it is a weight bearing activity. Gravity helps move lymph each time one steps briskly with a slight bound to the ground. The sudden stops of each step with your full weight create additional gravitational pulls, which helps pull the lymph downward.

That’s why rebounding works very well for moving lymph. A rebounder can be purchased for as little as $25 US dollars. A rebounder is like a mini-trampoline, around four feet in diameter. It’s close to the ground, so all you do is step up and bounce up and down for 10 to 15 minutes, indoors or outdoors.

Each time you bounce you increase the gravitational pull on your lymph. You’re getting low level “Gs”or increased gravitational pulls similar to what you feel from sudden changes of vehicular speed or carnival rides. With intense walking or rebounding, the “G’s” are in vertical alignment with your body and its lymph system.

Massage that focuses on the upper shoulders, arms, and neck is useful as well. There are massage techniques that focus on lymph drainage. Polarity therapy has specific techniques for moving lymph also.

Dry brushing vigorously on the arms, torso, and legs is also recommended for moving lymph. The brush stroke directions should go from neck and calves to torso.

Herbs and teas can be used to purify the lymph. Cleavers herb is used in many lymph formulas. It can be purchased as an extract or tincture, or as loose herbs to make teas or tinctures. Indigo is another herb suited for detoxifying the lymph system. Some recommend goldenseal and Echinacea as well.

Drinking plenty of pure water is essential with all these recommendations.

Natural Remedies for Pinkeye (Conjunctivitis)

by Jordan & Kyla Miller

Many of us, at one point or another have seen or have experienced what is commonly known in the Western part of the world as pinkeye or more technically, conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva – the membrane that lines the eyelid and wraps around to cover most of the white of the eye. When someone has pinkeye, the eyes may appear swollen and bloodshot, and are often itchy and irritated. Since the infected area is often filled with pus, the eyelids are apt to stick together after being closed for an extended period of time. In serious cases, vision can become blurry; in this case, it is highly recommended that you consult a trained professional.

Colloidal Silver

Contributing Factors

Factors that can contribute to conjunctivitis include bacterial infections, virus, injury to the eye, allergies, and exposure to substances that are irritating to the eye. such as fumes, smoke, contact lens solutions, chlorine form swimming pools, chemicals, makeup, or any other foreign substance or particle that enters the eye. Conjunctivitis is highly contagious if it is caused by a viral infection.

Natural Remedies

Supplementation:
  • 25 000 IU of vitamin A (with carotenoid complex, lutein, and zeaxanthin) for 1 month, then reduce to 15 000 IU daily. If your pregnant, do not exceed 10 000 IU daily, or as directed. Use an emulsion form for easier assimilation and greater safety at high doses.
  • 2000-6000 mg of vitamin C ( with bioflavonoids) daily, in divided does. Protects the eye(s) from further damage.
  • 50 mg of zinc daily. Do not exceed a total of 100 mg daily. Zinc enhances immune response. Use zinc gluconate lozenges for best absorption.
Herbs:
  • Calendula, chamomile, fennel, and/or eyebright herbal teas can be used to make a hot compress. Eyebright can also be taken orally as it is especially good for eye irritation and inflammation. Eyebright tea can also be cooled to rinse the infected eye. Caution: do not use chamomile is your are allergic to ragweed, or if you are pregnant. Chamomile may also negatively interact with warfarin, so patients using this drug should avoid it.
  • Ginko Biloba is also proven to be beneficial in improving the symptoms of allergic conjuntivitis.
Other Recommendation:
  • Increase your consumption of leafy green vegetables (collard greens, kale, mustard greens and spinach), legumes, and yellow vegetables. Furthermore, blueberries, blackberries, and cherries, as well as foods rich in vitamin C and E, such as raw fruits and vegetables are also beneficial.
  • Apply a hot compress, using the teas noted above to the eye several times a day. Many of the microorganisms that cause pinkeye, cannot tolerate heat.
  • If your eyelids are swollen, try peeling and grating a fresh potato, wrapping it with gauze, and placing it over the infected eye. This acts as an astringent and has a healing effect.

If pain or blurred vision occurs, seek medical attention. These symptoms can be signs of something more serious. If your symptoms appear to be mild, feel free to try out some of the remedies above. The most important thing is to culture a strong immune system so that you can avoid these infections in the future. For an extensive list of remedies and scientific publications, please reference the many articles available through GreenMedInfo.com.

Foodborne Disease Outbreaks Linked To Imported Foods On The Rise

by: Jonathan Benson

(NaturalNews) The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says foodborne illness outbreaks are on the rise among imported foods, with nearly half of these outbreaks originating in foods sourced from Asian countries. According to a CDC report recently presented at the International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases in Atlanta, Ga., there were 39 reported outbreaks accounting for 2,348 illnesses caused by imported foods consumed in the U.S. between 2005 and 2010, a figure indicative of a substantial uptick.

Colloidal Silver

Among these reported illnesses, which are likely far lower than the actual number of foodborne illnesses caused during this period, nearly half of them occurred between 2009 and 2010. Fish and spices were reportedly the top two culprits in the outbreaks, with fresh and dried peppers representing more than 80 percent of outbreaks within the spices category.

"As our food supply becomes more global, people are eating foods from all over the world, potentially exposing them to germs from all corners of the world, too," said Hannah Gould, Ph.D., an epidemiologist from the CDC's Division of Foodborne, Waterborne and Environmental Diseases, and author of the report. "We saw an increased number of outbreaks due to imported foods during recent years, and more types of foods from more countries causing outbreaks."

Between 1998 and 2007, food imports into the U.S. nearly doubled, jumping from $41 billion to $78 billion. Today, about 15 percent of all food eaten in the U.S. comes from other countries, which includes as much as 60 percent of fresh produce being imported during certain times of the year, and as much as 85 percent of seafood being imported.

According to the CDC's Foodborne Disease Outbreak Surveillance System, there were more than 1,000 reported illness outbreaks in 2008 alone from both domestic and imported foods, which resulted in more than 23,000 reported cases of illness. Of this, there were 1,276 reported hospitalizations, and 22 reported deaths (http://www.cdc.gov/Features/dsFoodborneOutbreaks/).

Newer CDC statistics from 2011 estimate that 48 million people, or one in six, get sick every year as a result of foodborne illness. Of this, 128,000 people are hospitalized, and roughly 3,000 end up dying (http://www.cdc.gov/Features/dsFoodborneEstimates/).

On the other hand, there have been only 54 reported illnesses associated with raw milk consumption over the 33-year period between 1973 and 2005, and no deaths. And yet the CDC, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and others have adopted a biased and unsubstantiated vendetta against raw milk as if it is a primary food safety concern, when in reality, it constitutes a negligible health risk, at bes.

Eliminating Gluten Fom Diet Can Relieve Brain Fog (Mental Confusion)

by: Sarka-Jonae Miller

(NaturalNews) Brain fog is a real problem despite the lack of information in most medical and psychological texts. Brain fog describes mental confusion or a lack of mental clarity. People with brain fog have difficulty thinking clearly most of the time and in varying degrees. A morning bagel, lunchtime sandwich or pasta dinner may be the cause behind this scary condition.

Brain fog reduces quality of life
Even though the medical community mainly ignores brain fog, it is one of the most important symptoms, says Lawrence Wilson, MD on his website DrLWilson.com. Brain fog is unrelated to depression, dementia or any other mental problem and yet it is rarely accepted as a real symptom that can help make appropriate diagnoses.

People may spend their whole lives in a mental fog, unable to focus, make quick connections, process information correctly or keep up in school or the workplace.

Gluten and brain fog
According to Dr. Wilson, gluten-containing foods can cause reactions in the brains of people with gluten sensitivities that lead to brain fog. Gluten is a protein in most grains, including wheat, rye and barley. What people eat does affect the brain. Food allergies can disrupt the sensitive balance of hormones and chemicals in the brain, resulting in problems from depression to schizophrenia, according to an article on AlternativeMentalHealth.com.

People who are sensitive to gluten often suffer from malabsorption, leading to low levels of essential nutrients in the body. The body attacks gluten as if it were an invader, which damages the finger-like projections called villi that absorb nutrients when food passes through the small intestine. Malabsorption can inhibit mental development in children and lead to deficiencies in people of any age.

The brain needs a variety of nutrients to be healthy. Vitamins, minerals, protein, starches and healthy fats are all necessary for optimal brain function. According to DrLWilson.com, some of the most important nutrients include:

• B vitamins, especially B6 and B12
• Calcium
• Choline
• Chromium
• Iodine
• Magnesium
• Omega-3 fatty acids
• Selenium
• Thiamine
• Vitamin D
• Zinc

These nutrients are in a wide range of foods, all of which may not be digested properly because of intestinal damage caused by eating gluten. A lack of these nutrients can cause brain fog, according to DrLWilson.com.

Eating any gluten, even small amounts, activates the immune system. Symptoms appear to spread from the gut throughout the body, including the brain, according to an article on DrKaslow.com, the website of Jeremy E. Kaslow, MD.

Gluten avoidance
People may eat gluten and not know that their bodies are suffering. Allergic reactions often cause swelling and inflammation. Unfortunately, swelling in the gut because of an allergic reaction is not as easy to detect as swelling at the site of a bee sting or swelling on the face from eating foods that someone is allergic to. Even less observable is inflammation in the brain due to an allergic response. People cannot feel brain tissue; the tissue is not designed to alert people of problems using signs like itching, pain or swelling people can feel in other parts of the body, according to DrKaslow.com.

The solution is to adopt a gluten-free diet. Avoiding gluten improves cognition, lifting the brain fog so people can think more clearly. Getting off the gluten also has been shown to stabilize mood, improve grades, increase motor skills, promote faster learning, improve concentration and eliminate brain fog, according to DrKaslow.com.
