Vaccines do not provide long-term immunity; only temporary at best. In vaccines, an antigen is injected into the body to produce a reaction and the immune system responds in the form of antibodies, but antibody presence does not confer immunity. People still catch the diseases that they are vaccinated against. Vaccines actually skip the normal immune responses to activate killer cells which can trigger an overproduction of cytokines in response to the toxic vaccine adjuvants and can damage tissues and organs and even stop the heart and block air pathways.

Vaccines should never be called immunizations because that is a misnomer. Immunity and vaccinations are two different subjects altogether. In fact, breast milk is so potent with immune energizing effects in the infant that researchers at the CDC recommend women withhold breastfeeding their children in order to boost the "effectiveness" of childhood vaccines. The paper claims that women should stop breastfeeding long enough for the man-made poison to work on artificial/temporary "immunity."

There is no such thing as a "side effect"
After-effects of vaccines are only followed for a very short time. Effects that are not seen for 30 years will not even be associated with the vaccine. Immunizations are contributing to the lowering of immunity along with the spread of auto-immune diseases such as arthritis and even AIDS throughout the world. Research clearly shows that aluminum mixed into vaccines carries a risk for autoimmunity, long-term brain inflammation, and subsequent neurological complications and may have profound and widespread adverse health complications. Many vaccines contain both aluminum and trace amounts of mercury. When you mix these 2 metals together it causes Extreme Synergistic Toxicity.

The facts:
As vaccinated disease rates go down (but not necessarily as a result of toxic vaccinations), the rate of chronic disease goes up in lock-step. Vaccines, as they are commonly given, destroy the natural immunity process and accelerate the auto-immune disease process.

Deaths from measles in 1900 were 13 per 100,000 people. In 1948: less than one. Measles vaccines introduced in 1963 but took full credit for what they never did – eliminate measles. Japanese health authorities realized that early inoculations were causing crib deaths so they postponed them until the 24th month and SIDS virtually disappeared along with whooping cough (pertussis) during the first two years of babies' lives. Instead of preventing whooping cough the DPT promotes it as well as SIDS. Reuters recently reports that according to the CDC, the number of pertussis cases is growing – in the fully vaccinated population!

The recent Bachmair vaccine study reveals that the allergy rate in vaccinated children is more than double the rate in unvaccinated ones. Vaccinated children are also nearly eight times more prone to develop asthma or chronic bronchitis than unvaccinated. Furthermore, vaccinated kiddos suffer from more neurodermatitis, herpes, otitis media, hay fever, hyperactivity, scoliosis, epilepsy and seizures, migraine headaches, thyroid disease, and SIDS than unvaccinated children. Vaccinated kids historically also have more measles than unvaccinated kids

Doctor after doctor will tell you that vaccinations have reduced the incidence of many infectious diseases but they have no real proof. In fact, all the epidemical evidence shows that disease rates rise after vaccines – in the vaccinated population. Should we trust them just on their word? Make an informed decision about you and your child's health.

By democracy, they mean Democratic Socialism. By progressive, they mean regressive Marxist principles and values aimed at stripping every citizen here and abroad of their God given rights to freedom, liberty and personal achievement.

I can go on and on linking an increasing flood of bad headlines from all over the world. In the USA, reports of abnormal stock-piling at F.E.M.A. camps and unusual U.S. and Foreign troop movements on U.S. soils are swirling across the Internet with increasing frequency.

Federalizing all state military and law enforcement units has been repeatedly reported, with many speculating about alleged foreign military cross-training exercises in U.S. cities, aimed at preparing for “civil unrest” or even “civil war.”

With a Federal Government hell-bent upon pitting American against American through a litany of political, race, religious and class warfare initiatives launched right out of the West Wing of the people’s White House, essentially an American version of their “Arab Spring” represented by the Socialist Occupy Movement, imagining civil unrest in America circa 2012 requires no real imagination at all.

Because patriotic pro-American citizens are reluctant to riot against the tyranny raining down from D.C. daily, the Left was forced to incite riots from within their own ranks. As they promote the false notion that their voters are entitled to the assets of other voters, they create an environment in which denying their parasites access to those assets will be enough to ignite civil unrest, much like events we have watched unfold in many European states over the last few years.

Just like Greece, Iceland and much of Europe on some level, the International Left is igniting civil unrest by uniting Labor Unions, Black Panthers, Muslim’s, Illegal Aliens, Green, anti-war and special interest groups against white, conservative Americans focused only upon keeping that which they have diligently earned.

In the months preceding Obama’s inauguration, over $13 Trillion in American investments left America for foreign markets and has never returned. The Obama Administration has been forced to threaten foreign nations into snitching on American investors who moved their resources to safe havens abroad before Obama-Clinton could confiscate them for their greater communal agenda. American manufacturing is all but extinct. Even our military machines are manufactured overseas now.

This evil administration has toppled numerous Middle Eastern allies of the United States, placing the Muslim Brotherhood (the Mother Ship of all Jihad organizations) in charge all across the Middle East while leaving the USA increasingly dependent upon Middle Eastern oil.

The bottom line here is they have created the perfect storm for the West. Contrary to newsroom controlled propaganda written and released by Obama-Clinton, unemployment is at an all-time high in America. An additional 230,000 Americans lost their unemployment benefits just this past weekend.

Occupiers are right to be angry, along with all other Americans. But Occupiers have been misled into being angry at the wrong people. The 1% they should be angry with is the 1% in government who has intentionally run this ship aground.

Governments don’t create jobs or prosperity — people do, in the private sector. Yet public sector parasites and their labor unions have convinced many young ignorant Americans to help attack the private sector, free-enterprise and the capitalist goose that lays the golden egg of individual freedom and prosperity.

Even though Communists, Socialists and other parasites march side-by-side with Occupiers, these kids remain unable to connect the dots and realize that they are being exploited by International Leftists for their own power, not benefit of the student occupier.

Worst of all, there is no viable resistance to all of this evil in America.

There is a shrinking movement of Tea Party types that started out with the right intentions a few years ago, only to be almost instantly hi-jacked and exploited for the same purposes by the same people.

Despite knowledge that their 2010 crop of turncoats have done nothing to even slow the current march into unconstitutional Marxism — they remain foolishly hopeful that the next 2012 crop of future turncoats will do better.

No government in human history has ever failed to seize increasing control over the people and their private earnings. No government has ever returned the stolen goods of their people after stealing them.

Still, too many citizens sit silent as their nation and way of life is stolen right out from under their collective noses, and pretend to care by throwing more campaign money at yet another crop of turncoats in the false hope that someone in government will reform government. It never has happened in history and it never will.

Governments are focused on growing government power. Only the people have the purpose and power to protect and preserve individual freedom and liberty – and they can’t do it so long as they are focused on celebrating diversity instead of unity – and place their individual agendas ahead of their common goal of freedom and liberty for all.

The American Dream is gasping its final breath and the average American is completely unaware. The few who are aware, have no idea how to stop it and won’t unify under any leadership or strategy, despite knowing that divided, we will indeed fall.

There is nothing new or inventive about the 2012 Global Agenda. The agenda is centralized power over the people, paid for by America’s most productive citizens, making all citizens equally destitute.

2012 may well be the last chance for Americans to change the course of history and preserve freedom for ours and future generations. But I see no signs that the people are prepared to do anything real in that cause.

Free-market freedom is under direct assault an on the brink of the abyss all over the world. But make no mistake — the United States is the biggest prize of all for those hoping to take all the marbles. If America is not free, no people on earth will be free.

The Global Agenda is tyranny, paid for by hard-working taxpayers all over the world. American assets are being seized for the sole purpose of purchasing power for a few, in a Marxist One World Order. It’s no more complicated than that!

At the rate we are going, by the time they get ready to fight, the battle will be long over. God have mercy on those so foolish as to relinquish their freedom for a pittance in free-stuff from a bankrupt treasury.

When the people who have fed the world for two-hundred years can no longer feed themselves, we know what comes next. That is the end game of Cloward-Piven and the enemy within is in their 11th hour press.

Do Americans have the good sense and uncommon courage for the task ahead?

This study should be another warning sign that oxybenzone should not be put on the skin. The highest levels of oxybenzone in the urine of women in this study occurred in the months of July and August, proof that the sunscreen ingredient is readily absorbed into the bloodstream.

Exposure to sunlight promotes good health. The more sun exposure we get, the better our bodies function. Preventing sunburn during the hottest part of the day is a good idea. Sunburn damages the skin. But with all of the evidence that sunlight is beneficial in the prevention of cancer and heart disease, maintaining a strong immune system, and building bones, no one should be using sunscreens on a routine or daily basis.

This study provides further evidence that commercial sunscreens that contain cancer-causing and estrogenic chemicals should never be used. Sunscreens with oxybenzone, methoxycinnamate, and PABA are dangerous. The only proven safe sunscreen ingredient is zinc oxide.

They said she needed a termination to allow her lung tumour to be removed before it killed her.

But the 21-year-old, who is a devout Roman Catholic, refused, saying she felt too close to her unborn child.

A year on, she is the proud mother of  Rennae – her second child – and has been told that she is free of cancer.

Yesterday she said: ‘I was always determined to have my baby. I felt such a close bond with her, I couldn’t let her go.’

Aborting her child was never an option because of her strong faith, Miss Jackson insisted.

She was diagnosed with lung cancer after she fell ill on a camping trip with her partner of five years, Andrew Bartle, 22.

For several months she had been having breathing problems but her condition got out of control when she went down with a fever on the break near Blackpool.

The couple went to a doctor who, fearing a blood clot, referred Miss Jackson to casualty.

There she was given an X-ray, an ultrasound scan and finally a CT scan, which revealed the four centimetre (1.5in) tumour.

Despite the shocking news, she said she was determined not to heed the advice given to her by doctors at the Royal Preston Hospital that she should have an abortion to save her own life. ‘I was crying and so was my partner,’ she recalled. ‘I thought it was the end for me and my baby.

‘I felt like a ticking timebomb. I had nightmares about dying in labour. It was a bad time, my head was all over the place.

‘I just shut down and tried to get through as best as I could.’

Toward the end of her pregnancy, Miss Jackson’s lung disease was giving her asthma attacks on a daily basis. But she managed to battle on and, four months ago, gave birth four weeks early to Rennae, who weighed in at 6lb 3oz.

The life-saving operation took place four weeks later and saw the removal of half of her lung. Now recovering at home, she says she wants to tell her story so that others realise that a disease like lung cancer can affect anyone – even young non-smokers like herself.

Doctors said the onset of cancer in the case of Miss Jackson, who comes from Nottingham, was more likely to be caused by genetics rather than any lifestyle factors.

(OMNS May 14, 2012) People have been misinformed about the tragedy at Fukushima and its consequences. There is a continuing cover up, the reactors have not been stabilized, and radiation continues to be released. The Japanese College of Intravenous Therapy (JCIT) has recently released a video for people wishing to learn more about how to protect themselves from contamination by taking large doses of vitamin C.

 
Radiation Exposure Protocol

Based on a sampling of 1,200 patients of all ages, a panel found that doctors make more prescription or dosing errors for elderly and young patients than they do for other age groups, which can be particularly serious. Over the course of the year, 18 percent of all patients experienced at least one prescription error a year, while 38 percent of those over the age of 75 experienced at least one medication error a year. Children under the age of 14 were also found to be more prone to medication and dosing errors.

"It is deeply worrying that such dangerous mistakes are being made," said Katherine Murphy from the Patients Association, a private, volunteer-based patient advocacy organization. "Patient safety is paramount yet still these avoidable errors are slipping through the net."

In some of the more severe cases, patients were prescribed drugs to which they were allergic, or carelessly prescribed high-risk drugs that required extensive monitoring without being warned about potential misuse and side effects. In roughly four percent of cases, patients experienced serious side effects as a result of errors, and some of them died.

Medication errors in the U.S. kill tens of thousands every year
In the U.S., the situation appears to be even worse, as a 2006 report by the Washington Post explains that at least 1.5 million Americans are injured, sickened, or killed every single year as a result of prescription drugs. According to data released by the Institute of Medicine (IoM) at that time, at least one hospital patient a day is harmed by a medication error in the U.S. Collectively, the costs of remediating drug-related injuries in the U.S. tops $3.5 billion a year (http://www.washingtonpost.com).

"Everyone in the health-care system knows this is a major problem, but there's been very little action, and it's generally remained on the back burner," said Charles B. Inlander, one of the panel members advising the IoM, to the Washington Post. "With this report, we hope to give everyone involved good, hard information on how they can prevent medication errors, and then create some pressure to have them implement it."

It is estimated that nearly half a million people in the U.S. suffer a medication-related adverse event every year, while as many as 100,000 in the U.S. die annually from adverse drug reactions.

KING 5 News in Seattle, Wash., first broke the news about the "mystery illness" that has reportedly affected at least 280 flight attendants thus far. According to accounts, those afflicted by the condition say they have developed persistently itchy skin, skin lesions, and hair loss, all of which they suspect may have to do with newer flight uniforms that allegedly contain tributyl phosphate, a toxic organophosphorus compound linked to skin problems (http://www.rightdiagnosis.com).

But not everyone is convinced that the uniforms are to blame, including Alexander Higgins who recently connected the dots to discover a potential link to the Fukushima Daiichi disaster. After comparing the flight attendants' symptoms to those reported on polar bears and marine life from the northwest U.S. throughout the past year, the timing and correlation of the two is highly suspect.

Are Alaska Airlines flight attendants suffering the effects of nuclear radiation fallout?
Back in April, AlaskaPublic.org reported that an alarming number of polar bears living in the Beaufort Sea, which is located just north of Alaska and Canada's Yukon and Northwest Territories, were turning up with skin lesions and Alopecia, which is another name for hair loss. And before the polar bears, it was apparently ice seals and walruses living in the arctic that were suffering similar symptoms (http://www.alaskapublic.org).

Upon these discoveries, it seemed as though scientists and biologists tried every which way to avoid tagging nuclear radiation as the cause, blaming viruses, bacteria, and other factors as potential causes. But all of these hypotheses have failed, under further scrutiny, to prove true, which leaves one major elephant in the room that is not being discussed: nuclear fallout from the Fukushima Daiichi disaster.

Based on the timing of when these creatures began to suffer their horrible symptoms, as well as the nature of their symptoms, it appears as though radiation from Fukushima may at least be one of the causes of this mystery disease. And the striking similarity of the animals' symptoms to those of the Alaska Airlines flight attendants points even more heavily towards a nuclear radiation link in the latter case as well.

In any case, there is little or no chance that the mainstream media, the Association of Flight Attendants, or any other prominent group will dare question radiation of Fukushima as a cause. After all, the public has been deliberately left in the dark the whole time about the true severity of Fukushima radiation, which we recently reported has been far worse than what we have all been told in the official story.

One such film is "Last Call at the Oasis," which began running in select theaters May 4. According to several reviews of the film, not only do some critics see it as a sure Oscar nominee, but the information it conveys could literally change the debate over one of the world's rapidly declining resources: Water.

Directed by docu-dramatist Jessica Yu ("In the Realms of the Unreal," "Protagonist"), "Last Call at the Oasis" is a "sobering but somehow upbeat examination of the looming catastrophic global water shortage," writes critic John Anderson of Variety.

Described alternately as "exhilarating," "visually engrossing," and "entertaining," the message the film presents is nonetheless dire; in the words of hydrologist Jay Famiglietti, "We're screwed."

A siren in the night
The issue of declining global water sources may not seem like something you want to take a date to see on a Friday or Saturday night, but if you're concerned about the future of this delicate resource – and every human should be, regardless of political affiliation – the film is worth seeing using that standard alone.

For example, the film notes that, at the rate the water level is declining at the Hoover Dam in Nevada, it will stop producing electricity within four years. Las Vegas, experts in the film say, is already near a state of emergency.

Yu also highlights another problem being caused by a growing number of pharmaceutical companies, which the film says are poisoning water systems across the company. One firm even makes an herbicide which can change the sex of frogs.

In Australia, livestock are dying or being killed off because of a lack of water. "Behind the often spectacular landscape photography, and a parade of spectacularly intelligent people, is a crisis of biblical proportions," says Variety.

Naming names
There are a number of villains Yu points to as being most responsible for the problem. Among them is former Vice President Dick Cheney's company, Halliburton, which she maintains has been allowed to avoid reporting on the kinds of chemicals it uses in hydraulic "fracking," a procedure which uses water to split rock so energy companies can gain access to trapped natural gas.

Government isn't spared, either. Yu hammers the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its lack of regulations to better protect drinking water supplies.

The San Francisco Chronicle describes the film as an "insightfully scary look at our dwindling water supply."

"Things are bad. Global warming is evaporating some of it, rising populations are using more of it, and industrial chemicals are seeping into the rest of it," the paper says. "Among the many questions raised – will California become the new Australia? Erin Brockovich and, improbably, Jack Black are along for the globe-trotting ride, and Yu keeps things moving along at a brisk pace."

The New York Times calls it a film that is "informative, fast-moving and scary."

The bottom line is, there is a bottom to the world's supply of this most precious commodity, even though most people tend to think of water as an infinite, somehow regenerating resource.

In fact, as early as 2004 a leaked Pentagon document warned that the world could be brought to "the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies."

Global climate change – not despotic rulers – will lead the conflicts.

"Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life […] Once again, warfare would define human life," the report says.

Drink up.

The Mayo Clinic is saying that a fungal infection of the gastrointestinal tract mimics cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. The invasive fungus, Basidiobolus ranarum, is typically found in the soil, decaying organic matter and the gastrointestinal tracts of fish, reptiles, amphibians, and bats.

Patients with this fungal infection had non-specific symptoms such as abdominal pain or a mass that could be felt on examination. Before a conclusive diagnosis of the fungal infection was made, most patients were thought to have abdominal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease or diverticulitis. Surgical resection of the area of involvement and prolonged antifungal therapy successfully treated most patients.

Interestingly, a few years ago researchers at Johns Hopkins were surprised that the drug itraconazole, commonly used to treat toenail fungus, can also block angiogenesis, the growth of new blood vessels commonly seen in cancers. Tumor angiogenesis is the proliferation of a network of blood vessels that penetrates into cancerous growths, supplying nutrients and oxygen and removing waste products. Cancer researchers studying the conditions necessary for cancer metastasis have discovered that angiogenesis is one of the critical events required for metasteses to occur. In mice induced to have excess blood vessel growth, treatment with itraconazole reduced blood vessel growth by 67% compared to placebo. "We were surprised, to say the least, that itraconazole popped up as a potential blocker of angiogenesis," says Dr. Jun O. Liu, professor of pharmacology. "We couldn't have predicted that an antifungal drug would have such a role." Itraconazole was found to reduce the numbers of circulating cancer cells, prevent the worsening of prostate cancers, and delay the need for chemotherapy. However, it has serious side effects when given in the necessary high dosages that include hypertension, low potassium levels and fluid retention. These side effects require treatment with other medications. Effects of high doses of itraconazole could lead to heart failure.

For two decades John Hopkins has recognized the increasing frequency of severe fungal infections in patients with neoplastic diseases. Most fungal infections are caused by the commonly recognized opportunistic fungi Candida spp and Aspergillus spp, and the pathogenic fungi Cryptococcus neoformans, Histoplasma capsulatum, Coccidiodes immitis, and less often by Blastomyces dermatidis. However, recently newer pathogens such as Pheohyphomycetes, Hyalohyphomycetes, Zygomycetes and other fungi of emerging importance such as Torulopsis glabrata, Trichosporon beigelii, Malassezia spp, Saccharomyces spp, Hansenula spp, Rhodotorula spp, and Geotrichum candidum have appeared as significant causes of infection in this patient population.

Dr. Tullio Simoncini does not say that cancer is caused by yeast; what he is telling the world is that the cancer is a yeast overgrowth. What causes the cancer (or a yeast-filled tumor) is another thing. Simoncini has always insisted that tumors are white because they are fungi. Some have made fun of him, but looking around at the extremely sparse information about the subject, I ran into one person saying:

"If someone had asked me a year ago what color the inside of a tumor was, I would have guessed red and gray. When they did the biopsy, I asked to see the tissue specimens: five quarter-inch to half-inch strings of vermicelli (Italian for little worms) with little streakings of blood. They didn't look evil to me, just strings of fat. The entire mass was white inside as the pathology report stated.

Specialists in throat and mouth cancer say that cancers can be red or white patches: any patch that appears randomly and is red or white in color could be a mouth cancer symptom. The white patches in the mouth are called leukoplakia and the red patches are called erythroplakia, which are pre-cancerous conditions. Though these red or white patches are not always cancerous, it could be the result of a fungal infection caused by Candida called thrush. Thrush will lead to a red patch that often bleeds after the white patch disappears. A small amount of this fungus lives in your mouth most of the time. It is usually kept in check by your immune system and other types of germs that also normally live in your mouth. However, when your immune system is weak, the fungus can grow.

Fungal Mycotoxins

It just so happens that a toxin produced by mold on nuts and grains can cause liver cancer, according to University of California Irvine Researchers. And a French case-control study of 1,010 breast cancer cases and 1,950 controls with nonmalignant diseases found that breast cancer was associated with increased frequency of mold-fermented cheese consumption. Fungi produce mycotoxins, which can kill us or cause cancer.

Dr. Wang and Groopman from the Environmental Health Sciences Department at Johns Hopkins published on the effects of mold toxins on DNA in Mutation Research, a leading cancer journal. They said mycotoxins with carcinogenic potency include aflatoxins, sterigmatocystin, ochratoxin, fumonisins, zearalenone, and some Penicillium toxins. Most of these carcinogenic mycotoxins are genotoxic agents. Aflatoxin is a potent genotoxic agent, is mutagenic in many model systems and produces chromosomal aberrations, micronuclei, sister chromatid exchange, unscheduled DNA synthesis, and chromosomal strand breaks. Most strikingly, the relationship between aflatoxin exposure and development of human hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) is demonstrated by studies.

Harrison et al. (1993) examined human breast cancer tissue for evidence of the presence of aflatoxin. The researchers examined human DNA from a variety of tissues and organs to identify and quantify aflatoxin DNA-adducts. Such adducts are considered to be proof of the mycotoxin's presence in a particular tissue. Aflatoxins may in fact be a risk factor for cancer induction in a variety of organs in man, in the same manner as that of cigarette smoking.

DNA from normal and tumorous tissue obtained from patients with cancer of the breast was examined. Tumor tissues had higher aflatoxin-adduct levels than did normal tissue from the same individual. The result of this study verifies the presence of carcinogenic aflatoxin within the cancer tissue and thus implicates aflatoxin as a cause of breast cancer. That is the same as saying cancer is a fungus or is caused by a fungus and this is what Dr. Simoncini has been saying all along.

Intensive Care Units are particularly on alert with immunocompromised and oncology patients for fungal infections. "Patients with brain tumors used to have a life expectancy of 3-12 months, but better treatment has allowed them to live a bit longer," said Brenda Shelton, clinical nurse specialist at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. "The last two brain tumor ICU patients we treated died of infection, not of their disease. One patient had a rare fungus, and the other had candidemia. Years ago, you would not see most of these fungal infections in patients with brain tumors because they would not live long enough."

"The biggest misconception is the belief that fungal infections are rare," Shelton said. "Another misconception is fungal infections are like every other severe infection. They are harder to manage, harder to eradicate and more frequent than people realize." One of the most common complications involved in treating patients with hematologic cancer is fungal infections.

Aspergillus niger fungal infection in human lungs produces large amounts of oxalic acid, which is extremely toxic to the blood vessels and which may cause fatal pulmonary hemorrhages. Consequently, oxalic acid (calcium oxalate crystals) in the sputum or lung specimens of patients is also an indication of an Aspergillus infection of the lung. These calcium oxalate crystals are the same as the calcium oxalate found in breast cancers. The presence of oxalates in the breast is indicative of the presence of fungi interwoven within the stages of breast cancer development. Since humans do not make oxalic acid themselves, this is an appropriate conclusion.

Dr. Robert Young states, "Bacteria, yeast/fungi, and mold are not the cause of a cancerous condition but are the result and the evidence of cells and tissues biologically transforming from a healthy state and to an unhealthy state." Dr. Young astutely observed that, "over-acidification of the body leads to the development of chronic yeast and fungal infections and ultimately a cancerous condition of the cells and tissues."

If one has cancer, chances are pretty good that one
also has a fungal infection to one degree or another.

According to The Home Medical Encyclopedia, in 1963 about one-half of all Americans suffered from an "unrecognized" systemic fungal condition. Far more Americans suffer from fungal infections today as antibiotics, hormone replacement therapies, and birth control pills continue to be consumed like candy. Thus more and more children are becoming infected with candidal meningitis or viral meningitis, which means their systems are suffering under the weight of fungi who put out an assortment of poisons – or mycotoxins.

Sodium Bicarbonate is an Antifungal Agent

The current controversy over sodium bicarbonate and its use in oncology might be relatively new but baking soda has a long history of helping people get through the worst medical conditions. The Eloquent Peasant, an Egyptian literary work dated around 2000 B.C., refers to a peddler selling natron, a natural blend of sodium bicarbonate, chloride and sodium carbonate used in mummification, just one of hundreds of uses this compound has been put to. Baking soda's first widespread use was probably as a leavening agent for bread and other baked goods. It has been used commercially since 1775, although the now-famous Arm & Hammer brand wasn't introduced until 1867.

Sodium bicarbonate (Na2HCO3) is recognized by most as ordinary baking soda, which is found in deposits around the globe. Its backbone characteristic is to maintain balance of carbon dioxide, bicarbonate and pH. Sodium bicarbonate is available and sold in every supermarket and pharmacy in the world and is widely used in emergency rooms and intensive care wards in injectable forms but is sold as a common household substance that is used for hundreds of different things.

Two years ago, Austin, Texas, resident Joe Del Rio awoke to find city officials demanding he let them in to inspect his home. Before it was all over, the local media reported, a police SWAT team and a host of firefighters had been called in as well.

Del Rio's crime? City officials had a problem with what they described as a "multi-level bunker-type space" under his home that supposedly held suspicious materials.

Detained and questioned for the next 10 hours, authorities eventually let Del Rio, then 70, go free. But over the course of the next few years, his case took some bizarre twists. For one, the city wound up billing him $90,000 for sending a small army of cement trucks to his home to fill in the bunker, saying such action was necessary and prudent in order to make his home "safe."

History of a threat?
Where the city of Austin is seeing a threat, this really seems like little more than a case about being prepared for the worst.

Del Rio, a veteran who once held a high security clearance and used to be a security guard for the Austin City Council, told the local press that the space in question began as a Cold War-era bunker, certainly nothing out of the ordinary for the time, considering the biggest threat during that period was a nuclear weapons exchange between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union.

From there, Del Rio said, the area was expanded over the years into what he called a work space.

Neighbors complained in 2008 and 2009 about holes, which resulted in the city sending over code inspectors. Eventually, the city condemned the property.

Del Rio said that, based on his questioning by authorities, he believed police thought they had another "Unibomber" on their hands. They asked him why he was shirtless and his hair was askew and he answered the obvious – because he had been awakened from his slumber at 7 a.m. Based on reports, city crews seemed disturbed when they found military memorabilia, including inert hand grenades and about a dozen firearms in his home – as if this was the first time anyone in Texas was found with guns and harmless military gear.

Not taking it lying down
Incensed by the whole affair – especially the enormous bill the city sent – Del Rio hired a lawyer and is suing the city for what he says was an unconstitutional, uncompensated seizure.

"The ordeal they put me through was unnecessary," he said. "I've gotten the runaround. I think they want the property. Condemning it is a cheap way to get it."

The irony of his situation isn't lost on his attorneys.

"He guarded the council 22 years, and now nobody's guarding his rights," said one lawyer, Mack Ray Hernandez.

"They jumped to a conclusion," adds co-counsel Lou McCreary, commenting on the city's actions. "This is a hell of a lot of trouble and angst they've caused our client."

Despite the city's action to lock up and condemn his property as uninhabitable, Del Rio says "Travis Central Appraisal District records put the house's reasonable fair market value at upward of $172,000," according to the Austin Statesman newspaper.

Since the seizure, Del Rio bought a condo and has been allowed to retrieve some items from his former "command bunker" home. Adding even more insult to injury, he says the property has been burglarized since he was forced out.

The Texas Constitution says "no person's property shall be taken, damaged or destroyed without adequate compensation being made, unless by the consent of such person."
