Rose Laurel OPC

Utopia,
I received this email from an elderly lady who I had told about the Oleander Pure Concentrate:

“Tony, Just wanted you to know after a year on the Oleander OPC, I seem to be cancer free …the pain, swelling, and fever in my breast has completely disappeared!! I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found you, please keep up the great work!!

We need more like you.
Anna Marie”

A little background:  Anna Marie is a lady of around 80 years old or so who is friends with my uncle and aunt in Texas.  At one time Anna Marie and her husband were in a "walking club" with my uncle and aunt.  When my uncle and aunt found out that Anna Marie had breast cancer that was getting worse no matter what she tried, my uncle told Anna Marie about how he followed my advice and used oleander as the centerpiece of an anti-cancer protocol that successfully got rid of his lung cancer after mainstream medicine failed him.

Saturday: Left upper eyelid was tender. I knew that blepharitis was on its way.

Sunday: Woke up with eyelid swollen, red, and painful. Took ibuprofen for pain, and began CS treatment. Over the course of the day, drank about 8 oz. of Utopia Silver. Also sprayed eye with CS roughly once an hour. Used saline hot compress three or four times during the day.

Monday: Woke up with eyelid less swollen, but still painful, and goopy. Same treatment as Sunday.

Tuesday: Swelling down 50%. Pain is down 85%. Continued with CS treatment. Ingested approx 3 oz. of CS, and continued spraying eyelid with CS.

Wednesday: Swelling down 85%. Pain is gone. Continued CS spray, and ingested approx. 2 oz.

Thursday: Eyelid almost normal. I have no pain, and there is only a minor amount of residual redness.

IMPRESSIVE! Utopia Silver has proven its worth. I have had blepharitis before, and have known it to last for at least a week to two weeks. My aunt had it for a month and was given steroid creams to deal with her swollen eyelid. Less than a week later, my eye is almost back to normal, through the use of CS. I love Utopia Silver!

Hi Ben,
I had a complete replacement of my left knee last month at Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio. Have a lot of rehab physical therapy to do. I was afraid of getting an infection while in the hospital so I took the therapeutic doses of Advanced Colloidal Silver for several weeks prior to surgery. So far no infection what-so-ever.

Artificial Sweeteners Alter How Body Handles Real Sugar

by: David Gutierrez

(NaturalNews) Artificial sweeteners may cause metabolic changes in how the body reacts to real sugar, according to a study conducted by researchers from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.

Conventional scientific wisdom has been that because artificial sweeteners such as saccharin, aspartame and sucralose do not contain significant amounts of carbohydrates, they are simply ignored by the body's sugar-regulating functions. Researchers tested this premise by assigning 22 healthy young volunteers of normal weight to fast for several hours, then drink either a diet soda (about two-thirds of a can) or an equivalent amount of carbonated water. Ten minutes later, all participants drank a sugary beverage and their body's response was measured.

Increases in blood glucose levels were identical in both groups, but participants who had consumed the artificially sweetened drink first showed larger increases in circulating levels of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This hormone, which is released by the gut when food enters the stomach, signals the brain to create the sensation of "fullness." This reaction has not been observed in people consuming artificial sweeteners on their own.

"Our data demonstrate that artificial sweeteners synergize with glucose to enhance GLP-1 release in healthy volunteers," the researchers wrote.

The implications of the finding are not clear. Although they appear to suggest that consuming artificially sweetened products might actually cause people to eat less over the long term, previous studies have shown the opposite result. Whether artificial sweeteners produce more fullness, damage the brain's ability to regulate calorie intake, or produce some more complex reaction remains unknown.

It is becoming increasingly clear, however, that artificial sweeteners do have a significant effect on the body's reaction to other food.

"In light of the large number of individuals using artificial sweeteners on a daily basis, it appears essential to carefully investigate the associated effects on metabolism and weight," the researchers wrote.

Scientists Find Walnuts Fight Prostate Cancer

by: S. L. Baker

(NaturalNews) Walnuts are a rich plant source of omega-3s, the fatty acids also found in cold water fish like salmon. Omega-3s are known to lower the risk of a host of health problems from depression to heart disease. Walnuts are also loaded with gamma tocopherol (a form of vitamin E), phytochemicals known as polyphenols, and antioxidants. Now, for the first time, scientists have reported that these nutrient-rich nuts have the ability to reduce the size and growth of prostate cancer.

Scientists from the University of California-Davis just reported their discovery at the 239th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS), being held in San Francisco this week. "Walnuts should be part of a prostate-healthy diet," Paul Davis, Ph.D., who headed the study, said in a statement to the media. "They should be part of a balanced diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables."

Approximately 190,000 men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. According to the University of California-Davis scientists, research suggests that diet is among the most important factors in influencing a man's risk for developing prostate cancer. For example, there's evidence that eating tomatoes and drinking pomegranate juice may reduce the chance of ever having prostate cancer.

Recently, scientists have found that walnuts could fight cardiovascular disease by reducing levels of endothelin, a substance that increases inflammation in blood vessels. Because men with prostate cancer are known to have elevated levels of endothelin, the University of California-Davis scientists reasoned that eating walnuts could be beneficial in preventing and/or treating prostate cancer.

Davis and his research team conducted their study on laboratory mice that had been genetically programmed to develop prostate cancer. One group of the animals ate the equivalent of about 2.5 ounces of walnuts per day in a human diet (equal to approximately 14 shelled nuts) for two months. A control group of mice did not receive any walnuts in their diet.

When the genetically induced prostate cancers developed in the walnut-fed animals, their tumors were only about half as large as those of the control mice. What's more, the cancers in the walnut eating rodents also grew 30 percent slower.

So what was going on in the bodies of the mice who ate walnuts? The researchers found those mice had lower levels of insulin-like growth factor-1. That's a crucial finding because high levels of this protein are thought to increase the risk of developing prostate cancer.

To further investigate why walnuts had the ability to fight prostate cancer, the researchers used gene chip technology to track changes in gene levels in the animals' tumors as well as in the livers of the mice. The results showed eating walnuts had a significantly beneficial effect on both tumor and liver genes that have been shown to be involved in controlling the growth of malignant tumors.

Editor's note: NaturalNews is opposed to the use of animals in medical experiments that expose them to harm. We present these findings in protest of the way in which they were acquired.

Dark-skinned Immigrants To Canada Urged To Take Vitamin D Supplements

by: Ethan A. Huff

(NaturalNews) Canadian doctors and nutritionists are urging dark-skinned immigrants coming to Canada to supplement with vitamin D in order to stay healthy. Many Canadian immigrants have relocated from countries with warmer, sunnier climates, and are exposed to far less natural sunshine in Canada than in their native lands. As a result, many of them have become deficient in vitamin D.

Immigrants come to Canada to work, to go to school, and simply to live, but few realize that the change in climate conditions could have devastating effects on their health. Darker-skinned people who come from places that receive more sunlight and are warmer for more months out of the year often have trouble maintaining healthy vitamin D levels in places like Canada that are colder and get less overall sunlight.

According to Dr. Kevin Pottie, nearly all of the immigrant and refugee patients he tests have low vitamin D levels, especially during the wintertime when the angle of the sun is at its lowest and the fewest ultraviolet-B (UVB) rays make their way to people's skin.

Reinhold Vieth, a researcher from the University of Toronto, explained in a CBC News interview that the color of a person's skin actually plays a role in how much vitamin D that person produces when exposed to sunlight.

People with lighter skin tend to produce far more vitamin D when exposed to natural sunlight than do those with darker skin. People from countries with lots of natural sunlight and warm climates generally have dark skin, a trait that Vieth believes has developed throughout their ancestries in order to protect them from sun damage. As a result, dark-skinned people must be exposed to far more sunlight than light-skinned people in order to produce the same amount of vitamin D.

"Basically, what we're doing is transplanting people from an area for which their skin is optimized in terms of its color to an area where their skin is often too dark to be healthy," he explained in an interview.

A University of Toronto study co-authored by Vieth found that those of South Asian descent are six times more likely to have vitamin D deficiency than those from European descent. Researchers believe this is due, in part, to a diet that is low in foods containing vitamin D. Many women from these cultures also wear traditional clothing that covers nearly all their skin, limiting their exposure to the sun.

Immigrants who generally spent a lot of time outside in their native lands tend to stay indoors in Canada due to the colder weather and harsh winters. As a result, they are more prone to vitamin D deficiency diseases like bone density loss, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, multiple sclerosis, and even mental illness.

The Canadian Cancer Society is recommending that people take 1,000 international units (IU) of vitamin D every day throughout the year in order to maintain good health.

Planting Seeds

I received this ‘story’ in an email last night. Whether it is true or simply a parable I don’t know, but thought it worth passing on.
Ben
A successful Christian business man was growing old and knew it was time to choose a successor to take over the business. Instead of choosing one of his directors or his children, he decided to do something different. He called all the young executives in his company together. He said, “It is time for me to step down and choose the next CEO. I have decided to choose one of you.” The young executives were shocked, but the boss continued, “I am going to give each one of you a SEED today — one very special SEED. I want you to plant the seed, water it and come back here one year from today with what you have grown from the seed I have given you. I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be the next CEO.”One man, named Jim, was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed. He went home and, excitedly, told his wife the story. She helped him get a pot, soil and compost and he planted the seed. Every day, he would water it and watch to see if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other executives began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow. Jim kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew. Three weeks, four weeks, five weeks went by, still nothing.

By now, others were talking about their plants, but Jim didn’t have a plant and he felt like a failure. Six months went by — still nothing in Jim’s pot. He just knew he had killed his seed. Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Jim didn’t say anything to his colleagues, however. He just kept watering and fertilizing the soil. He so wanted the seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the young executives of the company brought their plants to the CEO for inspection. Jim told his wife that he wasn’t going to take an empty pot. But she asked! Him to be honest about what happened. Jim felt sick at his stomach, it was going to be the most embarrassing moment of his life, but he knew his wife was right.

He took his empty pot to the board room. When Jim arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by the other executives. They were beautiful — in all shapes and sizes. Jim put his empty pot on the floor and many of his colleagues laughed. A few felt sorry for him! When the CEO arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted his young executives. Jim just tried to hide in the back.

“My, what great plants, trees and flowers you have grown,” said the CEO. “Today one of you will be appointed the next CEO!” All of a sudden, the CEO spotted Jim at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered the financial director to bring him to the front. Jim was terrified.

He thought, “The CEO knows I’m a failure! Maybe he will have me fired!” When Jim got to the front, the CEO asked him what had happened to his seed.

Jim told him the story. The CEO asked everyone to sit down except Jim. He looked at Jim, and then announced to the young executives, “Behold your next Chief Executive! His name is Jim!”

Jim couldn’t believe it. Jim couldn’t even grow his seed. How could he be the new CEO, the others said.

Then the CEO said, “One year ago today, I gave everyone in this room a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it and bring it back to me today. “But I gave you all boiled seeds; they were dead it was not possible for them to grow.

All of you, except Jim, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. “When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Jim was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new Chief Executive!”

If you plant honesty, you will reap trust If you plant goodness, you will reap friends If you plant humility, you will reap greatness If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective If you plant hard work, you will reap success If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation If you plant faith in Christ, you will reap a harvest So, be careful what you plant now; it will determine what you will reap later.
