Hi Bobby,
Most of the ‘name’ brands are probably OK, but quality may not always be the same. It’s best to check them for PPMs; they should be 1 or less using the Hanna TDS1 tester. You do not want other minerals in your production water; silver ions and silver particles tend to bond with other mineral particles and may be less effective or even fall out.

I would recommend the Silver Bullet Generator which is a 120 VAC to 48 VDC unit needs no battery changing.
