Medication Interactions

Q:
Is there any medication or other supplement that cannot be taken in conjunction with colloidal silver?
Miriam in Texas

A:
Hi Miriam,
No, there are no ‘contraindications’ between silver and any other supplement or medication/drug that I am aware of. Although not necessarily common or dangerous, there are possible contraindications between some supplements and drugs. For example, taking bromelain and other enzymes with any other supplement or drug may cause a more efficient assimilation and increase their effectiveness. In such a case, they should not be taken with any drug. Personally, I use both bromelain and enzymes to enhance my vitamin and mineral supplementation.
