Good Morning Utopia,
My son was recently diagnosed with adhd; he is 9, I have been doing some research on this and found in the Kevin Trudeau book he mentions a Candida cleanse and liver/gallbladder cleanse. Also I give him 1/4th tsp of colloidal silver every morning and he takes Omega3s. My question is, are these cleanses ok for a child his age? …and if so is there a candida cleanse and liver/gallbladder cleanse that you would recommend?

I would be sure first of all (maybe with a naturopathic opinion) that he does have adhd. From what I have read there may be many who are diagnosed that are simply normal energetic males. Beyond that, if there is actually a clinical adhd, you are wise in trying to determine the cause rather than just treating symptoms; adhd doesn’t happen. I would look first at diet; eliminate junk foods, processed sugars, food preservatives, etc.
I really can’t see a candida connection; that generally makes you lethargic/low energy, but maybe there is something I don’t know. If you need a referral to an MD/ND health consultant, let me know. We have one we work with regularly who advises us on various issues.
