Utopia Silver,
My husband has a lot of trouble with gas in his intestines. Do you think the Probiotic 10-10 will help this condition? What is the difference between the Acidophilus and the Probiotic 10-10.
Thank you,
Judy in [area code 503]

Hi Judy,
Improving your husband’s overall colon health and digestion may be key. Diet is also a factor, so notice whether or not certain foods are the culprit and if so try to avoid them. It may also help to eat 4-5 smaller meals a day instead of 2-3 large ones. Fresh fruits and vegetables are helpful and if cooked, do not overcook them.
Exercise is also very important to reduce gas problems. People who are more sedentary are more prone to this problem. Daily walking is the best.
The Probiotic 20-10 has acidophilus and several other flora species. I would use the Probiotics along with the Enzyme Plus and possibly the Bromelain, which is one of the most potent digestive enzymes.

Vitamin B Complex is also essential for proper digestion as are calcium and magnesium. Calcium and magnesium are critical for proper muscle movement of the bowels. If one is deficient in calcium, the muscle will not contract properly with strength and if deficient in magnesium, the contracted muscles cannot relax as they should to prepare for the next contraction. On this note, remember, the heart is a muscle and some heart issues may be caused by calcium and magnesium deficiencies.
It may also helpful to do a colon cleanse either with the Colon Klenze-R or the Whole Body Cleanse on a regular basis. I would recommend a cleanse every couple of months, but if one suspects there are issues related to proper elimination of the colon, I would suggest it be done ‘therapeutically’ once a month.
